I am Dan Brakke, I am a musician and photographer from the greater Twin Cities, in the wonderful frozen North of Minnesota. I spend most of my time playing music, taking photos, some weird combo of the two, or spending time with my amazing friends I have acquired over these shorts years in my life.
I love to make deep connections with those around me, I long to find that other person who is perfect for me, and I live to help my friends when they need someone most.

An Amazing Evening.
I was lucky enough to get to photograph a concert tonight that featured many of the biggest names in Minnesota Hip Hop. It was so humbling to be at the front of the house with my camera, looking through the lens at some true musical genius. I have sooo many photos to go through, here’s hoping I got some amazing snaps.

Tonight is big.
Tonight I get to take pictures at a get out and vote concert at the historic First. Ave. I am kinda shittin my pants about it, really hoping I don’t fuck it up and end up with shit pictures. I MUST KICK BUTT.
